AOC Bonnezeaux
This appellation covers 80 hectares in the commune of “Thouarcé”, near the Layon river, in Maine-et-Loire deparment. Only one grape variety is permitted for AOC Bonnezeaux wine : Chenin Blanc. To craft our AOC Bonnezeaux wine with a high residual sugar content (naturally high in residual sugar without any added sugar), we use a traditional method know as « passerillage ». This involves drying the grapes to concentrate their sugars and reduce the water content. We achieve this by either twisting the stems to cut off sap flow or by hand-harvesting the grapes and laying them out to dry. The sun and wind promote this natural drying process, leading to over-ripening and the development of noble rot, both essential to the wine’s unique character.
AOC Coteaux du Layon
The Layon River is a tributary of the Loire which takes its source in the southern part of Maine et Loire. The AOC Coteaux du Layon spans twenty-seven communes, including several well-known ones such as Faye-d'Anjou, where Domaine des Petits Quarts is located.
All our AOC Coteaux-du-Layon are naturally sweet white wines, proudly carrying the appelation’s name.

AOC Anjou Blanc
Our dry white wine holds the AOC Anjou Blanc designation. This appellation covers about 900 hectares in the heart of the Anjou region and spans around 150 municipalities. It is divided into two distinct terroirs :
- Anjou noir, the larger area, with dark schist soils ;
- Anjou Blanc, smaller in size, charaterized by white chalky soils.
AOC Crémant de Loire
Crémant de Loire AOC was officially recognized in 1975. The territory covers the areas of Anjou, Saumur, Touraine and Cheverny.
Our sparkling wines are the result of the Loire tradition, combining the expertise of our winemakers with Anjou’s gentle climate.
